Monday Morning Series: Carousel in Paris

Brings back childhood memories – the Carousel.  And what a spectacular venue – do you see it in the background?  The Eiffel Tower!  This carousel, found on the banks of the River Seine, in front of Paris’ most famous landmark, brought smiles to the faces of the children as the music played and the horses danced on their platforms.

Happy Monday Morning.

Found on the corner of the Pont d’Iéna and Quai Branly – Champ de Mars, Paris

  2. There’s also a wonderful old one in the square in Avignon. My daughter loved it! (Except we call them merrygorounds in our neck of the woods)
