  6. Anita, looks like you had quite the whirlwind trip to Germany? Which spots did you make it to? See you also enjoyed Spargel (white asparagus). Yum!

  10. After this post I am ready for wine and pizza although I am always ready for that. Love those outdoor gathering spots in Europe.

  11. One doesn’t automatically think Germany = foodie, and I know it is totally wrong!! But with a bit of italy in everyone’s life.. everything gets better!

  12. This all looks AMAZING!! So, I’ve been to Germany once, and it’s the only country I was a bit iffy on. Clearly, I must give it another go!

    • I’d say it is worth another go. I have seen very little of Germany but hope to spend a little more quality time there. Torn between summer which would be awesome and their amazing Christmas Markets. Tough choices.

  17. It almost seems more civilized getting to eat and drink out on a public plaza with the quiet murmur of the crowds and the gentle clinking of glasses. Your post has reminded me of many warm summer evenings out on the Platz: beer me up! 🙂 Thanks for your post, Anita!

    • It is so civilized – I wish we had more plazas like this in Canada. I think the Aussie’s do pretty well with their beer gardens. Not quite the same as a plaza but still very outdoors and social!
