Tour de France fever is here – every day there seems to be new excitement as the riders make their way to Paris. For the avid cyclist, cycling in France is like a dream….
In 2010, we rode our own tour de France, sampling all the region had to offer. The last day of cycling started in Sisteron, the start city of stage 11 of the 2010 Tour de France. Famous for the citadel, lamb and fruit orchards, Sisteron is nestled in a narrow gap between two long mountain ridges. It is known at the Gateway to Provence and provides stunning vistas and amazing roads to pedal to your heart’s content.
Happy Monday Morning
