Cycling season in the Northern hemisphere is finally here! This one is for the cyclists out there! I will soon be heading to the lovely island of Mallorca for a couple of blissful weeks of cycling with a group of friends. Fingers crossed for good weather as many of the people in the peleton are experiencing this cycling mecca for the first time!

Long favoured by the professional riders, Mallorca’s popularity has certainly caught on with riders of all levels. Check out the posts from the Mallorca series. If you are interested in cycling here – there will be plenty of choice roads and epic climbs to fill your days.

Palma airport (PMI) has long been one of Europe’s busiest airports with millions of travellers coming through each year. Check out this interesting post from Mallorca Daily Photo Blog – it gives a great perspective on just how many people come to this magnificent island.

I’ve never liked cycling but, perhaps, it’s been because I’ve been on all the wrong roads. Then again, maybe I just don’t want to pedal.

I’ve always wanted to try cycling but I’m afraid to do so because with my personality I’d turn into one of you “guys” in no time 🙂 Have fun
